A Course-by-Course credential
evaluation expands on the Document-by-Document evaluation.
Like the Document-by-Document evaluation, the Course-by-Course
evaluation includes an evaluation of foreign academic credentials
(a university degree, for instance), but the Course-by-Course
evaluation also details the subjects covered as part of the
academic program of study as stated on the school's transcript
of academic record.
A Course-by-Course credential evaluation also includes a
conversion of the foreign grading scale and credit system
into the U.S. 4.0 grading scale and semester or quarter credit
system.
Course-by-Course evaluations are typically requested for:
- Continuing Education (including
transfer of credit)
- Professional or technical employment
- Teacher Certification
- Professional Licensure
In addition to Course-by-Course credential evaluations, FIS
also offers Document-by-Document evaluations and Expert Opinion
evaluations. Click on the links below to learn more.
